Mark Dance

Mark Dance has spent the past 20 years in the Vancouver high-tech community. For 11 of those years, he was at Creo Inc., where he played central roles in growing the company from 10M$US in revenue to over 700M$US in revenue, and from 100 people to more than 4,000 people world-wide. His roles included president, COO, and CFO. Since Creo’s sale to Eastman Kodak Company in 2005, Mr. Dance helps tech companies in areas as diverse as business strategy, distribution and partnerships, IP protection, financing, pricing and product strategy and organization and operations. He has also lectured undergraduate engineering classes on business, economics, and product management to help groom the technology entrepreneurs of tomorrow. Mr. Dance has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UBC and holds numerous patents on medical robotic devices.

Peter De Verteuil

Peter has many years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Business development. In his current role as Vice President, Business Analytics and Technology at SAP, Peter is responsible for driving SAP's Social Media and Cloud Analytics strategies, allowing SAP and their customers to improve their efficiency and performance through the utilization of Social Media and Cloud technologies. Previously, Peter was Vice President of SAP's North American OEM channel, where his team was responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with many of the world's leading technology companies. Peter also has an extensive marketing background, having worked as Director of Marketing for Future Shop, Canada's largest consumer electronics retailer (now part of Best Buy). While at Future Shop, Peter was named by Marketing Magazine as one of Canada's most influential marketers. Peter lives in Vancouver, Canada and holds an MBA from Simon Fraser University.

Roger Lines

Roger has held numerous senior executive leadership positions including Vice President of Customer Service at Kodak, where he was responsible for a €160 million service business including P&L, operations, and leadership of 900 employees across 18 countries in EAMER. He has as deep understanding of the Marketing technology space, with a focus in the Marketing Automation and Marketing Resource Management markets. Roger excels at driving deep-rooted customer adoption by helping companies develop clear market visions. Roger helps growing technology companies by sharing his expertise in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Strategic Alliances, Mergers and Acquisitions, Product Management, and Software Business Models. Rogers holds an Executive MBA from Simon Fraser University.

Ryan Marples

Ryan possesses one of the most unique skills in the technology industry: an ability to bridge very complex technical requirements with real world business needs. That ability to interoperate "between worlds" results in creative and compelling solutions to problems that most might have never contemplated. Ryan currently works at SAP as the Development Lead in the Global Business Incubator group, and previously held positions at Salesforce.com, BlueTide Management and Business Objects. During his tenure at Business Objects, he was a Product Manager responsible for the developer tools area of the industry-leading Crystal Reports product. He also held roles within Strategic Alliances and even spent some time in the sales group learning the dynamics of selling the products he was a part of building. During this time, he co-authored three books on Business Intelligence and has served as technical editor to several more. He has also been a speaker at numerous technology conferences across the globe.
